Hello Hello!
My name is Benay Derr. I live in Gretna, Nebraska which is a cute town that I have fallen in love with.
I am originally from California and practically spent my childhood years under a quilt frame at Grandmas house.
I am pretty sure that’s where my love of quilting started. Yup! It is.
I am also the wife of a loving and supportive husband and mother of four completely awesome children, all of whom spoil me as I do them. I have two teacup chihuahuas and a grand-bird. Life keeps me busy but there is always room for quilting.

I am the creator of Beany Boy Quilts, LLC, Beany Girl Pantograph Designs and Beany Boy Quilt Patterns. I have been a quilter most of my life and started designing quilt patterns and pantograph patterns in 2010. I have a love and passion for all things quilting that I hope shines in my designs and in my store. I stock personal favorites. If there is something you wish to see here, or have design ideas that you would like me to play with, please let me know. I aim to please and want nothing but to help my fellow quilters in their creative process.
